I started an online business in 2012 when I was still in high school, I was just surfing the internet one day and I came across a blog that states I can be making money from home on the internet. I was wowed. Like seriously?

That means that I don’t have to work for anyone, I just have to be in my room and start doing the necessary things and the money keeps coming. I was encouraged. As the machine makes the work easier for humans, the same as an online business.

Then I started searching everything I could lay my hands on about any online business, I was reading and reading different blogs, I was confused at a time because most of these people were saying I need to buy their course to make money.

It looks fake to me because what if the person trying to sell me this information is a scam or just trying to sell one nonsense ebooks to me, I can’t say. I don’t know who the real and the fake niggas are on the internet because it filled with different people.

Starting an online business looks so scary to me, I thought it was easier but my expectation now is that people just want to extort me to get my money. But you know, I believe that a life without risk is a life without greater achievement.

I took the risk to buy one of the courses online and I started reading hoping that well, in a few months am gonna make money. Yeah, I was very happy at the time.

But it wasn’t so, I didn’t make any money because I didn’t get the full information about starting an online business, everyone said the stuff is sweet to do, but aren’t seeing any result. What could be happening?

Is it true that you can start an online business and make money or is just all lies, I don’t know what to believe? In the meantime, I started researching and look for more free information that can make money.

I spent like a year doing this and I don’t think it ever makes me money. There are a lot of information on the internet, the bad ones and the good ones, well you wouldn’t know the good ones if you don’t have a coach. What is Blogging?

Blogging is the process of writing and publishing content or articles on the internet from your own end. I just want you to understand the meaning of blogging, I don’t want it to looks abstract or something that hard to comprehend. It is very easy to understand. There are some things you need to put to place when you want to start blogging, and that’s exactly what I will be sharing with you here.

But before we start, you need to know how to create a blog right? Yeah you know to have your own blog so you can be publishing helpful articles for your users and your audiences all over the world.

Let me brief you, I know you might be thinking oh am gonna spend with this right? yeah, you gonna spend some amount of money because it is a business, you want o make money from it, so you need to invest. The investment will be one the blog, and the other times, you just need like $50 to start a blog. Yeah, it is so simple to start.

So you want to know how to create a blog right, there are two things you are going to need; you are going to need a domain name and a hosting service. What is a domain name? A domain name is a name given to your blog, the name you want to call your blog, for example, you are reading this article on oyejobiadeola.com, that’s a domain name. That means you wanna get one, and you can get your domain name for few bucks from Godaddy.com.

The next thing you want to get is a hosting service, well there is two best hosting services have used and found their server very fast, they are Bluehost and Hostgator. With few bucks from these hosting services, you can get your host.

You might also want to consider the hosting service in your country, they might be cheap for example, I have tried hosting services like Whogohost, Hostnownow, and the likes from my country Nigeria and they are pretty good. You can as well check them out to get your hosting.

So the moment your domain and your hosting is ready, then you going to incorporate these two so that they can work together. What I am trying to say is that maybe if you bought a domain name from Godaddy and hosting service from Bluehost. These are two companies, that means you need to link these two so they can work together.

Do you understand? But sometimes, you can order your domain name from the same hosting company to avoid some technical issues you might not understand.

After you are done with the hosting and the domain name, then you can install WordPress on this name. There are a lot of reasons why WordPress is the best software out there, a lot.
